AIDS2004 : Information on the 15th International AIDS Conference held in Bankok in July, 2004.

AIDS2006 : Information on the 16th International AIDS Conference to be held in Toronto in August, 2006.

AIDS2008: Information on the 17th International AIDS Conference to be held in Mexico City in August, 2008.

AVERT: Charity dealing with health education and research, provides good information on its website, including for young people.

The Body : Good general guide to HIV and AIDS.

British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH) : organisation formed by merging the former Medical Society for the Study of Venereal Diseases (MSSVD) and Association for Genito Urinary Medicine (AGUM).

British HIV Association (BHIVA) : includes downloadable HIV treatment guidelines.

British Medical Association (BMA) : The doctors' trade union. Site includes publications on medical ethics and scientific issues as well as BMA policy and member services.

British Psychological Society Faculty for Sexual Health & HIV : forum for psychologists, and other professionals working in the area of sexual health and HIV.

British Red Cross : 'HIV - What's the story?' campaign page aimed at raising awareness of HIV among young people. Site contains information and statistics about HIV in the UK and overseas.

Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network : Policy research and reports on legal, ethical and human rights issues.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) : US lead federal agency for disease prevention and health promotion.

Centre for HIV & Sexual Health : organisation dealing with health promotion and training. Produces SHiNE magazine (Sexual Health Information News Exchange).

Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) : information for and about the non-profit world.

Children's HIV Association of UK and Ireland (CHIVA) : an association of professionals who are committed to providing excellence in the care of children infected or affected by HIV and their families.

Department for International Development (DFID) : UK government department, "working to promote sustainable development and eliminate poverty".

Dietitians in HIV/AIDS : registered dietitians who specialise or have an interest in HIV/AIDS.

Division of HIV/AIDS (DHAP) - MMWR Reports on HIV/AIDS : Mainly epidemiological reports from the USA.

Drug donations website : Site developed by NGO consortium, offering information and guidelines about donation of medicines to developing countries and Central and Eastern Europe.
